What has to bother us fans the most is the goal that disappeared due to an unknown foul. Why aren't refs required to announce fouls publicly to all like in American football games (by hand signals)? Why are there not follow-up official explanations/announcements/apologies from the league after they review mysterious/questionable calls so at least some accountability and some sort of closure can occur?
