Humans evolved with parasites. Our immune system evolved to run with a moderate or low number of parasites in the body, but with the discovery of antibiotics and other medicines, the human body can now be nearly parasite free, something it isn't wired for. There are a lot of neat studies done on this, and how introducing friendly parasites can greatly reduce
