Although if the players want to play, go for it. It should probably be up to them. I don't think the game should be postponed permanently... but they've moved games around for hurricanes before. I get the amount of money involved. They could move it to Monday night, or even Monday afternoon if they want. The game is going to be like a funeral anyway. The fact that this happened at the team facility and in front of the people who are involved in this game makes it a different beast.

Your first 2 sentences are contradictory. If the NFL cancelled or postponed the game right away, the players don't even get a say in it. They have to proceed as if they will play, and give the players a chance to figure out what they want to do.
