I don't necessarily agree with the comparison, I don't think O'Daniel is any where near as physical as Chancellor coming out of college. I think O'Daniel actually is a little bit of a better athlete than Kam but perhaps you are referring to their ability to play multiple positions on defense- I'd be surprised if you saw O'Daniel anywhere near the safety position though.
He's a hybrid linebacker that won't get overwhelmed in the run game (aka Sorenson last season), and is used to covering players out of the backfield and slot (used in the slot quite often at Clemson last season). I think in 3 WR sets O'Daniel is a must have on the field due to his versatility.
100% agree that he will be the best pick in our 2018 draft- could be wrong but he is who I am most excited about.
