Reid called 9 running plays in the second half. 9. NINE RUNNING PLAYS IN THE 2ND HALF. That is not Smith's fault. I know it sounds disgusting, but Smith played very well in that game. Well enough to win. He was 30 of 46 for 378 yards 4 TDs and NO picks.

I hate Smith but how can any intelligent football fan look at that game and blame it on anyone other than Andy Reid?

Against Tennessee we were up 21-3 at the half. At the end of the 3rd quarter we were up 21-10.

In the second half Reid called 5 running plays. 5. FIVE RUNNING PLAYS.

How can you blame anyone other than Reid for the Tennessee loss? 5 true running plays in the second half with an 18 point lead. I'm sorry, but that loss is completely on Andy Reid.

Yes, he is an offensive genius now that Mahomes is tearing up the league with his awesomeness. But that doesn't change the fact that Reid has mismanaged the clock and his timeouts his entire head coaching career.

Mahomes amazing play so far this year doesn't excuse the bad coaching Reid has done in the past. Fans are acting like he Reid has never made a mistake because he is helping Mahomes to an MVP season.

I will always hate the fact that Alex Smith was our QB, but I will always remember his prefessionalism in the way he helped Mahomes. I will always be grateful to Reid for being part of the brain trust that drafted Mahomes, but until he wipes away the crushing playoff losses he is responsible for, I will never be fully bought into his greatness.

I don't put any blame on Alex for the Indy loss.

The Tenn loss is different. Alex had the chance to end the game in the 4th quarter. 3rd and (5?). And the first thing he does when he steps back is get spooked (with literally zero pressure), miss open receivers, and run straight into a sack.

Alex had the opportunity to win the game for us there - and he couldn't get it done.

At least in the Indy loss, he got a ball to Bowe that was a doable (if not a very difficult) catch - Bowe just couldn't get both feet in.
