I wish they had explored the relationship between Capone and his deaf son more. Playing off the love he had for those close to him with the scenes of his awful acts. I remember the very emotional scene when Capone and his wife finally realized in their kitchen that their son is deaf. One of the most moving scenes of the entire series.
I think we all knew Nucky was gonna get it but I did not see by who. I think it was a fitting way to see the relationship of the Commodore and Gillian throughout those first seasons, and tie that in to how Nucky "made" his way.
Great show.
