I like the lead singer's low, monotone voice. They seem to improve with every release from what I've gathered. They play at same time as Foals and Heartless Bastards and the end of their set overlaps with the beginning of Kendrick Lamar, which is a show I refuse to miss... I got to see both Kendrick Lamar and the National back-to-back at Bonnaroo, and I wouldn't be too worried about missing some of Kendrick. I'm a huge fan, but I was pretty disappointed with his show -- a lot of really awkward silences and spots where he would just stop and have the crowd rap for him. I've seen the National twice now and both times they've put on an amazing show.
