Before that, we were a seriously injured team in NE with key guys literally playing on 1 leg. Playoff games are tough, man. We're just not used to being in so many of them in such a short period of time.
Teams have to acclimate to the NFL playoff dynamic. Once they rise to that level of competitiveness, the good ones learn how to win in the tournament. Wally's been there. But, other than a couple of FA pickups, most of our players had never sniffed a playoff game in their entire careers. Throw in a few officiating decisions made by Satan's Turds, and we are where we are.
