I'm going to put this mildly:
You grew up as a rube in a small town.
Let's put it this way, Hootie: The football coach that I trained under as a kid beginning at age 13 was not only a ****ing stud that would coach his teams to state championships, but he's still at the top of his game as one of the best (Top 20) football coaches in America.
There was no "horseshit" going on. Many of the guys I went to school with went on to play and start immediately at MAJOR universities across the nation.
