I actually read up on it.
"People do realize that RBI 15 is not meant to stack up against The Show or is intended to be the XBoxONEs pinnacle baseball game. Its just a revamp of a classic game with a few extra features thrown in."
That makes sense to have the pitcher and batter slide into position rather than realistic animations. Just like it was on NES. However, nobody is hurting for a change in baseball videogames, so I dont see the point.
Now if someone made a new hockey game like this, that played identical as NHL '94 just with great graphics, I would cream my pants.
