Still a clear message that any scoop the media may come up with (or make up entirely) will be disregarded, until proven by who's in charge of dealing with the law, would be a clear message to the media dogs to let go of the bone as theres no meat on it, and would still allow us plenty flexibility in dealing with whatever "case" may arise. Without undue pressure from outside, which is the core of this matter.
The media thrive on speculations and social media rumours about what should and is going to happen to this or that player. You take this away from them, they loose interest.
