Not really much of a spoiler, but since they did this skin to skin contact, they could delve into this tidbit from the books:

Legit Tagaryens, such as Dany and Rahgar, whom they refer to as 'Dragons' (you'll remember that Dany's brother, Viserys, would often threaten his sister of "waking the Dragon" when she would do something to upset him), are believed to be immune to fire and diseases. Since we saw her survive the pyre with the witch to awaken her dragons, we can assume the other part is most likely true as well.

In fact, the first hint we had at Dany being a true Targaryen was her batch scene in the first season. She gets in the water with her hand maiden telling her the water is too hot, and Dany gets in without flinching.

Again, they may not go that deep into detail in the show, but they could.
