I don't care HOW it works. I care THAT it works. And yes, I paid for that app, just like every other non-free app I have paid for. Are you suggesting that if I were on an Android OS, I'd never have to pay for an app to get some desired functionality?

Jumping through hoops? Skyfire is my primary web browser. It's no different that if I were on my computer and opened Chrome to view it. The fact that a server translates the video for me is absolutely irrelevant because it doesn't require me to do anything. See video, tap video. That's hardly jumping through hoops.
If it were jumping through hoops, it would be something like Jailbreaking just to watch some video. That's easy, but it's still a hoop. This is just an app that serves multiple purposes.
I also bought Goodreader for PDF files, even though I could read PDF files in Safari. I prefer the way Goodreader functions. Again, not a hoop. It's just a program.
I don't think I've ever complained about Android users having to jump through hoops to get functionality. If I did, I don't recall. But why would they have to? Everyone knows that Android plays Flash, gives you free handys under the table and cooks you breakfast when it's done. What other functionality could one possibly need?
