You know, thinking back, I'm not sure last week's episode wouldn't have worked better as a finale, and then have last night's start a new season. It might have bugged me a little less. But it would have left the main plot of the season unresolved over the break.

Well, at least we have some idea of what next season's going to bring:

Boyd's now the harlan county kingpin, and Arlo's looking like his number 2
Ava's still shot (you could conceivably have her die during the break)
Dickie's still alive
Winona and the baby
Art and Glynco
Black Pike

Dixie Mafia's still out there, too.
