For one brief moment I wished Hootie were still here so I could troll him one more time about Alex Gordon's lack of hustle on the most important play of his career (up to that time, anyway). And Hootie could hysterically insist one more time that NOBODY in the entire history of baseball would have hustled on that play. NOBODY!

I've obviously forgiven Alex for that faux pas. His home run off Familia last year had a lot to do with that. Plus, coming so tantalizingly close in 2014 made 2015 the epic year that it was.

I even logged on to Royalsplanet to see if I could troll Hootie over there, but that place is a graveyard.
Yes it's fun to go read Hootie go totally Colonel Kurtz on himself over there. And I say that with a smile. I enjoy Hootie's sports takes. But it's funny to read his claims that Mods over here are going to pay him to post here again and other tangents.
