Yeah, I've never been much into the biker party thing. Hell, in the several years that I've been riding I have been to a biker bar in Topeka once. I'll go to Sturgis (and BBB) to experience a bit of the atmosphere. Maybe get a tshirt or other souvenir but I'm sure I won't want to be there more than a day or so. Besides, the scenery up there is beautiful. Why would you want to waste much of your time not on your bike?
exactly.
hell, I don't know when, if ever, I'll get back up into that area; let alone while riding a motorcycle. Life happens way too fast and you never know if it might only be your one-time shot at getting up there. sure as hell don't want to spend it drinking $7 beers (or whatever they probably cost) at Full Throttle Saloon, and basically idling/walking my bike down main street for hours on end. We'll go; grab some shirts, souviners, have a few cold ones over the course of a few hours, people watch......then back on the road.
