And who's to say he won't get a ring next year? The Falcons may not have won a playoff game but they did lose the team that DID win it all, plus they were a 13-3 #1 seed. They stand a better chance than most teams.

Yes, I have watched Gonzales play. I do agree that he
should be a first ballot HOFer. I also think that Ditka, Winslow, and Sharpe should have been first ballot HOFers. They were not, and there are reasons for that. I believe that the same reasons will make Gonzales a second ballot HOFer.
If you need more convincing, name all the WRs that have been first ballot HOFers (at least in the modern era). There's one: Jerry Rice. Do you think they are willing to claim that Gonzales and Rice are fairly equal?
