I mean this is effectively no different than "Why should you worry about Matt Cassel? He drafted Tom Brady."
If we keep losing our OCs, at some point we're gonna hit on a guy who just isn't as good. I figure Kafka gets the next shot at it and maybe he won't be at the same level. Personally, I think the hands-on approach he's had with our triggerman and the amount of time he's personally invested in Pat Mahomes makes that unlikely - but it's not impossible.
Bienemy seems outstanding right now. I actually worry a little bit about Hill talking about how much simpler it is on the sidelines - simple has a shelf life. But Reid will work with him as well and if things start to get figured out, Reid will assist with adjustments.
I will concede that the concerns seem unnecessary at this point - I just don't see why it was unreasonable to have them.
