Instead of being a senior/member of the class of 2014, he will instead be part of the class of 2015. Not sure exactly how they go about it, from a paperwork standpoint, but it has to do with age and transferring schools (or attending a prep school).

Sandifer had a few classroom issues, from the way it sounds. Might be the pretty common case of a guy not doing enough work as a freshman, before his recruitment got big, and not being able to catch up in time to qualify out of HS.

By reclassifying, he can go to a prep school for one year and clean up any grade issues he needs to.
