Regime change without a clue what will succeed the regime being ousted has a destabilizing effect. Destabilizing effects, when applied to the Middle East and North Africa, will naturally affect oil prices in a positive way for Riyad and the oil industry. In other words, John got paid and his family will enjoy those payments long after John is rotting in hell.
