First off, you quoted me from 2015 and no, the Raiders weren't "vastly improved" from 2014.
2014: 3-13
2015: 7-9
They made a huge leap in 2016 but now the challenge comes: They don't play a last place schedule and they'll be paying Carr at the top of the league with Mack soon to follow.

I've wanted him to succeed and hope he proves me wrong but he just seems to play scared, like a dog that's been kicked one too many times. He's never aggressive, regardless of the circumstances and while I'm sure he's a nice guy and great in the lockerroom, blah, blah, blah, whatever confidence he had in his game appears to be long gone.
Hopefully, he proves me wrong but after last year and his brief time in preseason, he looks more like pre-2011 than 2012.
