I really liked the last episode, especially the part where Amy had to remind the Doctor that he was not acting the part. This new doctor is probably the most curious of all the doctors and yet the least patient. He has a dark streak that that even Eccleston couldn't match despite the fact he is a friendly and caring person. I did think it was a bit out of character for Rory. Its clear that its time for those two to settle down to their lives.
