I think a lot of the teenagers are having Halloween parties instead. Today's parents spend big bucks for everything.

I'm 49 and I used to go trick-or-treating until I was about 15 or 16. I used a pillow case and always filled it at least once and about 1/4 of the second round. I used to stay out until 9pm-that was the limit

Now people shut their doors at 8pm and a ton of people just got out to avoid giving out candy.

Very different and another lost tradition......
