I realize this will offend and it's not my intent, but comparing the womens team to the mens is ridiculous. To call the womens game exciting is a stretch at best...it's twice as slow and if actually appreciates soccer, they appreciate speed. The American womens team is the best team any government can buy and the talent disparity is absurd.

I have a 6yo nephew that plays soccer and that game is just as 'exciting' as the womens team. Dont get me wrong, you can get all pumped up about your sub par league team and say its exciting, but its not top flight soccer.

Womens and Mens soccer is chasms apart like the MLS and the Premiere League. To say 'I like the LA Galaxy, they're so much more exciting to watch than Manchester United' just because LA won its title and ManU finished 5th, is silly on its face.

Soccer is the 5th sport out of 5 in this country for men, so the best and fastest athletes do not play it. In the womens game, it's #1 of what, 3 sports for Women, so naturally the 'best' women athletes play Soccer.
