Since 1956. In the 1950's and 1960's Mugs Up Root Beers stands were quite popular in KC, along with Dog n Suds and A&W Root Beer. Mugs Up on 23rd St. survived. On the weekends you see lots of motorcycle riders, classic car club guys, etc. They do a pretty good business during good weather.
