Jim Haslett is headed back to the NFL.
The former Rams and Saints head coach is joining the Redskins as defensive coordinator, ESPN and NFLN reported.
Haslett coached the UFL's Florida Tuskers to the league's championship game last season. In 2008, he served as interim head coach of the Rams for 12 games (with a 2-10 record) after Scott Linehan was dismissed.
He was also the Saints' head coach from 2000-2005. He went 45-51 with one playoff appearance in his tenure.
Haslett may introduce a 3-4 scheme as the Redskins retool under new head coach Mike Shanahan. -- Sean Leahy

I know nothing about the Giants. I know no history or anything of that nature. I know you have a kick-ass new stadium, though I think you were somewhat over-charged in terms of the overall magnificence/presentation.
But then again, it's not a glorified Texas whore house like Jerry built.
I know some Giants fans were pissed at both the new prices and the way their season ticket seats were "reorganized".
Do Giants fans consider the Jets to be a "Jersey Team"? What's up with that?
