If he would have gone all-in on solving our biggest problem at QB the last couple years we may have given him more slack, but he didn't. He assembled a lot of talent and wasted it on a team without a QB which automatically means a loser team, and he was too stupid to realize that is a fatal flaw. Its not all his fault, but Pioli's been plenty incompetent enough to lose his job.
Doubling down on Cassel and hiring RAC were both fatal errors of judgement if your goal is to win a Superbowl. There are another dozen flesh wounds of judgement, but those two are head shots.
