For me it depends on the weather. Wind actually helps with my driveway if I don't have a pile on the side. That means usually I push the pile back a good 5 feet from the driveway and smooth it down when I do shovel. If it's windy I wait and my driveway is clear outside of a massive drift at the end of the driveway that goes out into the street. If it's not windy, I'll usually be out there a couple different times.
