Which is interesting in a season that has been nearly bereft of plot altogether. It caused me (and I suspect a lot of the audience) to react to the show with beating chest and a palpable sense of nervousness - a lesser version of the panic that Don Draper was feeling. I had no problems with the abundance of sudden plot advancement. SHIT WENT DOWN and it was exciting and kept me reeling. Sometimes you have to air a "move the pieces into place" episode. If you can do that with as much artistic flair and impact as last night's episode then you're doing something right.
