I told my boss that I wasn't working past my 55th birthday. That was in January of 2013. Every month I sent him an email asking about my replacement and when they would show up so I could train them. Never got a response until July 3rd 2013. (My last day of work) He asked if I would stay on for another month to train my replacement. My response was;
"I'd like to but, I've got a tee time, for the rest of my life" and hung up. He didn't call back. IT WAS GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
