You're completely missing my point.
I'm totally aware of movies that generally don't screen sucking balls. I've reviewed movies that didn't open for critics... a couple of which you actually referenced in your next post. I certainly don't need a movie biz lesson from you.
All I'm saying is that Transformers 2 raked in the money the first week, and remained top of the bill in week 2. And that was WITH bad press. These producers aren't screening for critics because they know it'll get bad press, but it'll do fine on the money anyway. Without the bad press, it'll do better.
