If it's the latter, no, he's saying he quoted a line by Melissa McCarthy in Bridesmaids to his wife and his wife's friend. The friend then revealed the Melissa McCarthy is her real life sister.
If it's the former, Kristen Wiig wrote it. The only 'personal' aspect of the character for Melissa is that the guy she hit on on the airplane is her real life husband.
