Saw The Girl Who Played with Fire the other day but forgot to report back.
Personally, I thought it was much better than the first, though they clearly went a little more mainstream with Lisbeth than the first film. This, in my opinion, is both good and bad. I thought they stylized her too much in the first film but I think they normalized her too much in the second.
The directing in the second was much more welcome and the script and pacing were flawless. Again, the Potter books could take some lessons. I also felt more at home with the characters in this version - I'm not sure why.
