Meh, you do enough stuff and there's gonna be huge clunkers in there.
Some for money - De Niro with Rocky and Bullwinkle, Michael Caine with Jaws 3, Nick Cage with tons of stuff.
Some just bad luck - half of Tom Hanks' early films, Willis with Hudson Hawk, Hoffman and Beatty in Ishtar, Gyllenhal with Prince of Persia.
Travolta has tons of shit, including Battlefield Earth, and apparently Gotti.
Everyone with a resume has clunkers. A ton of talent [notably including Willis and Hanks above] assembled to make one of my personal most LOATHED films of all time, Bonfire of the Vanities.
Haven't seen Pluto Nash, but it can't be that much worse than anyone else's stinkers.
