"circumventing the filter" is pretty easy to do unintentionally. Replace the "u" in "****" with an asterisk (*).... You're "circumventing the filter".
Honestly, I think it's the worst rule on CP. Makes no sense at all. But, whatever.
I also don't go out of my way to avoid doing it. On a lot of sites it's just how you kinda censor yourself. If I **** up and get banned, it's not exactly gonna break my heart.
