yes. for me, more manageable there. although its usually in my big toe and in the surrounding areas. had it for about 5 weeks over the holidays, and i hadn't even been drinking (or eating terrible bad).
next time you flare up, get your doc to give you indomethicen. as the doc was leaving i asked him about a steroid shot. he said, sure, it should help.
i don't know whether it was the indo, or the shot, but it was mostly gone by the next morning.
