If it was extortion, which I believe it was, then why are we seeing this video?
My guess is that there are more videos or bits and pieces, and they used the "blow the first hostage's brains out to let the rest know you mean business" technique.
Let the media Frenzy play with this shit for a couple of weeks and then ask him if he wants the juicy shit to come out.
