I'd say it is, but we haven't reached that bridge to jump off it just yet.

Sneeds agents will put together their parameters for a fair deal. The Chiefs will decide if they want to accept. If not, the agents will look to find a team that will and put the Chiefs in touch with them where they'll talk trade compensation and if the trade works out - done and done.

That's the easy path(s).

Then if somewhere between cup and lip, it all falls apart, we have the tag/play scenario. And let's face it, Sneed WILL play. He's not going to sit out and miss $1.1 million/wk in game checks when he's made something like $4 million in his entire career.

It may ultimately take some arm twisting but I think the 3rd scenario is pretty unlikely if for no other reason than I think Sneed will eventually relent (either with the Chiefs or a trading team) and get a deal done that may not be exactly what he'd hoped for.

He knows that this is the year for a LTC.
