I like his earlier, more pure country stuff but his trilogy of
The Houston Kid,
Fate's Right Hand and
The Outsider is by far my favorite. I think even people that think they don't like country would like those albums.
His newest,
Sex & Gasoline, is pretty good, though not up to the standards of the previous three.
