Well, sure, I like Macallan 18, but I can't afford that. (At a restaurant in New Orleans 4-5 years ago, I splurged on a glass of Macallan 25, which of course was sumptuous).

I have a collection of 12- and 15-year-old single malts -- Glenmorangie, Macallan, Longmorn, Aberlour, Clynelish, The Speyside. I think my favorite, affordable single malt, though, is Cragganmore. I like its complexity.

I also like Redbreast Irish whiskey, and Woodford Reserve bourbon.
