There is some questionable analysis there... Anderson didn't have a great year before he left, as he couldn't even hold off Peter Budaj for the starting spot. He did have a solid year before that, I guess. Kind of hard to judge him or Elliot though, since the defense was so bad.
However, that obviously doesn't take away from the O'Reilly crap or the other low-ball offers. It's one thing to mortgage the future with trade deadline deals, like they did 10-15 years ago, but it's like they're still operating with that same kind of mentality. And I think Duchene and Landeskog are both RFAs at the end of this season...
