I'm probably in the minority but I didn't mind Ben Affleck or Chris Pine as Jack Ryan. But I think that this is the perfect format for Jack Ryan - 10-13 episode seasons on a network like Amazon.
Kraskinki's a fantastic actor and I think he'll do the part justice.

Oh, yeah. One of my favorite movies. I read most of Clancy's stuff back in the 80's/90's. I got to attend a seminar hosted by someone who consulted him on the book, regarding the real incident that the book was based on. Fun stuff. On of my more enjoyable USNR duty weekends. So when the movie came out,
and it had Sean Connery in it, that was just too much to pass up.
I still don't think anyone has really
nailed Jack Ryan yet but I enjoyed Baldwin's take. I didn't mind the other actors really...I just wasn't all that impressed with their interpretations. Not so much a negative reaction to them, a just a "meh." But something about Krasinski in that trailer. I just have this feeling that he's nailing it.
