Level of competition?
I think its a combination of spread offense and level of competition that might have scouts holding him to the 2nd round. I'd personally consider him in round 1. Sac is right that he doesn't look to have the same elite speed that some other players do, but neither did Jerry Rice, Cris Carter, Tim Brown, etc. He looks like a guy that will run right at about 4.50. I will say though that I'm going to guess that Hardy's hands are about as big as Beckham's and if you've watched the kid play he makes the same type of unreal, one-handed snags that Beckham makes. Hardy high points the ball extremely well and goes up over defenders to make alot of catches, so I'm not sure a jump out of the park comment is warranted against Hardy. I'm anxious to see his measurements at the combine, I think he's going to surprise some people. The one thing about Hardy is that if you throw it near him he's going to catch the football, he adjust to poorly thrown balls extremely well.

While Greene, Diggs, Dorsett, and Lockett give more deep speed, they don't give you that sturdy frame that Hardy possesses. The only two that I'd consider close are Greene and Lockett in receiving talent, but neither are quite there with Hardy. Both Greene and Lockett I'd consider as nice slot players. I'm looking at Hardy as a perfect possession #2.
