By the way, somebody posted comments from Tim Grunhard about how Kush just doesn't have it mentally to play center in the league. This April 20th press conference from Kush is abysmal.
I know player interviews are usually awful, but this one is stupendously awful. I haven't heard a player say more and mean less in a press conference EVER. "Working hard and trying to get better." That was it. 4.5 minutes of that answer. Over and over again.
Players sometimes give answers like this when they're trying to guard against something, or when they're really not wanting to be in front of the media answering questions. But if you're Kush, it's just a few questions about the offseason workouts and the departure of Rodney Hudson. They're not grilling you about a murder investigation or trying to pry into deep dark locker room secrets, for ****'s sake. There is no reason whatsoever to be that guarded in your answers.
Either he's a dumbass because he got psyched up over a really simple interview, or he's a dumbass because he got briefed on one answer he can give to every question and just did that until sports reporters got bored and walked away
