It felt wrong...out of place to see the words "Super Bowl Champions" and "Kansas City Chiefs" next to each other. Like I was cheating somehow to create this alternate reality, this dream world. I hoped that I would get to see it for real in my life, sooner rather than later.

Well it's much later. I've gotten to see it twice, thankfully. Back to back feels unfair, like I'm cheating or something. But this isn't a dream. We aren't dreaming.

Chiefs 26
49ers 17
I did the same. Tecmo. Madden. NFL2K.
All of 'em. Now we're gonna' 3 Peat. And I've watched enough football to recognize the inevitable collection of talent that leads to repeat SB victories. I see that HC, QB, defense combo that just kept going back for years.

And now that team is mine and it's all worth it...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).
