Whats a good first-person driving game? one of my favorite games back in the days of Sega Genesis was Road Rash II. Anything like that with these modern day consoles? Also, it has to be suitable for a 10 yr old.

The last Forza was fantastic. F1 2012 is bad ass too.
They're both sims. Forza has a bunch of different cars, tracks, and the difficulty levels are reasonable (the easiest hits the brakes for you if you come into a turn too hot).
F1 is hard as **** unless you like/know Formula 1. It's a little hard to get into as a beginner if you're not familiar with F1 but if you stick it out, it's worth it.
