I like the suggestion that the money would be better spent on charity. Well, no shit. So would Deb's season ticket money. And her tailgating money. And the money for her internet, cell phone, and cable. Selfless giving is a noble thing. Who's to judge how another uses their disposable income? Let's not act like people are dipping into their "charity fund" to pay for this. It's a ridiculous angle, and hypocritical to boot.
