The only issue, and it's not a big deal, is that in my intraconference games (games against 3 of the 4 teams in other divisions) my home games are all against one division (Wichita, Cedar Rapids, Overland Park) and my road games are all against the other division (Austin, Clearwater, Fort Worth). It doesn't really matter at all other than aesthetics, so I wouldn't bother fixing it, and it's also possible that my own team's schedule is an anomaly anyway.

No, I designed it that way for simplicity. Next year you will host the and travel to the opposite divisions.
I noticed some of the teams have a bunch of home or road games in a row. (I have 5 home games in a row). That wasn't intentional, but since our teams don't really travel, I decided it wasn't an issue.
I do plan to factor in some kind of HFA, but don't know exactly how I will simulate that.
Building the scheduling algorithm was fairly challenging. The NFL has even more constraints they have to consider, such as number of home/away games in a row, the NY teams can't both be home the same week, mixing in non-Sunday games, network concerns, etc. Respect.
