Seems strange. A lb SEES the opposing qb push the DC and just lets it slide and whines about it after the game, ALL the while NO ONE ELSE SAW IT.

A few Iowa State fans afterward claimed they saw it.
They also saw Sister Margaret casting a spell on Sally May immediately after prayers. Sally May couldn't scream for help because she was taking a day of silence, but they definitely saw it happen. There's no doubt there are witches living in the community!
