Weight room strength doesn't carry over into every day life? Have you ever played sports? Helped a friend move heavy furniture?
Comments like yours are where the cross fit resentment comes from. Spewing out reeruned terms like 'usable' or 'functional' strength. Give me a break.
Crossfit was around when I was in highschool, we just called it calisthenics.
